In marine vessels, offshore oil & gas platforms, FPSOs and offshore modules, HVAC equipment must withstand harsh marine conditions — salt spray, high humidity, persistent vibration and vessel motion — while complying with explosion-proof safety requirements for hazardous gas areas. The CNWINNEX BKT-200 Explosion-proof Packaged Type Air Conditioner is a high-capacity, all-in-one thermal unit engineered specifically for these marine and offshore high-risk scenarios.

The BKT-200 adopts a packaged, all-in-one structural design that integrates cooling, heating, humidification, steam heating and explosion-proof electrical control into a single unit. Fully tested and explosion-proof certified before delivery, it significantly reduces on-site installation work — ideal for space-constrained marine vessels and offshore platforms. With 200kW rated cooling and heating capacity and 36,000 m³/h airflow, it covers centralized thermal demands of large cabins, equipment rooms, control rooms and accommodation modules.

1. Packaged All-in-one Design, Easy Deployment

Cooling system, heat exchange, air supply, humidification, steam heating and explosion-proof electrical control are all integrated into one compact 4,000kg unit. Pre-commissioned at the factory, it requires only power, water and duct connections on site, drastically shortening installation cycles for marine and offshore projects.

2. 200kW High-capacity Cooling & Heating

With 200kW rated cooling and 200kW rated heating, plus a steam heater (340 kg/h steam consumption) and humidifier (68 kg/h capacity), it delivers precise constant temperature and humidity control. Designed for large diurnal temperature swings and high humidity fluctuations at sea, it ensures optimal conditions for electronic equipment, instruments and crew accommodation.

3. Advanced Composite Explosion-proof Protection

The unit bears explosion-proof marking Ex db ib mb IIC T4 Gb, integrating flame-proof (db), intrinsically-safe (ib) and encapsulated (mb) triple-layer protection for safe operation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas hazardous areas. The 18.5kW explosion-proof centrifugal fan and all electrical components are fully explosion-proof treated, ensuring operational safety in high-risk marine and offshore cabins.

4. Marine-grade Core Components

Compressors are Copeland / Emerson hermetic / semi-hermetic scroll units in dual configuration (2 × 26kW) for stable, energy-efficient operation. Evaporator and steam heater use copper tube with copper fins for corrosion resistance and high heat-exchange efficiency. The horizontal shell-and-tube condenser (inlet water temp ≤ 32°C), branded CNWINNEX, is compatible with marine seawater cooling systems. Refrigerant options include R410A / R407C / R134a, customizable per project requirements.

5. Wide Operating Range & Customization

Power supply supports AC380V and can be customized for vessel grid specifications. External static pressure is adjustable at 200–300 Pa for duct systems of varying lengths. Fan to meet different classification society and project preferences. The entire unit is reinforced for persistent offshore vibration and salt-spray corrosion, ensuring long-term reliable operation.
